Package sizes and maximum distances

Two fields relate to package type when creating a job: 'package_type' and 'transport_type'. 

If needed, you can request a particular transport type using the 'transport_type' field.

If you don’t have any vehicle type restrictions, we strongly recommend providing only the 'package_type' to allow your order to be fulfilled by a larger pool of couriers.

In addition, for each package type, there will be a maximum distance a job can be delivered. This distance depends on the package type as well as the Stuart zone where the delivery is to be made. Therefore within each country, these distances may vary slightly depending on the specific delivery zone.

At order creation, you must ensure that you have correctly defined the package type and that the delivery distance respects our limitations. Otherwise, this could lead to delivery problems due to your assigned courier not having adequate space or lacking equipment to take your package.

Note: In Spain ‘medium’ package type will be only fulfilled by a moped and ‘large’ package type is only available in Barcelona
