Katherine White is the chief talent officer of Spencer Stuart and is based in the firm’s London office. She is responsible for leading the firm’s global talent strategy, including recruitment, engagement, learning & development and HR.
People-focused executive with global perspective
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Katherine spent 12 years with Boston Consulting Group, starting on the consulting team and then moving into HR for the firm. Most recently, she served as lead of the firm’s people team for Western Europe and South America and was a member of its global people team management team. Throughout her tenure, she led a broad range of talent management, human resources and other global initiatives while based in London and Warsaw.
- As a consultant with Boston Consulting Group, Katherine spent time in Boston and Warsaw where she focused primarily on R&D in health care, working with big pharma, biotech and the international nonprofit drug development industry, where her clients included government entities, international philanthropic organisations and public-private partnerships.
- Earlier in her career, Katherine worked for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in Chicago and worked primarily with food retail clients.
She earned her M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with high honours. She graduated with a degree in engineering from Magdalene College, Cambridge, and also holds a diploma in organizational behavior from Birkbeck College at the University of London.
