Caroline Nesi is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services. Within this role, she works closely with boards and C-suite leaders looking to engage in succession planning, executive search, internal development, team effectiveness, culture diagnosis and transformation, and the transition of leaders into new roles.
In her work at Spencer Stuart, Caroline manages the South African panel of executive coaches, matching local clients with experienced coaches to support their development needs. She is known for her expertise in helping leaders leverage their corporate culture as a competitive advantage and determining the fit of leaders to those corporate cultures. Caroline advises across a range of areas and industries, including financial services, industrial and consumer.
Leadership advisory expertise combined with industry perspective
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Caroline practiced in the people and organization competency within PwC's advisory department in Cape Town, South Africa, for almost eight years, where she provided management consulting services to clients in both the private and public sectors.
- At PwC, Caroline also worked with South Africa's leading financial institutions on large-scale organizational culture and behavior transformation and gained experience advising on leadership development, change management, talent management and organizational design solutions.
- She was an active member of PwC's global Center of Excellence for culture and leadership, The Katzenbach Center; was an active career coach to a diverse group of young professionals and regularly facilitated group workshops.
Caroline holds an honors degree in organizational psychology from the University of Cape Town. She is also accredited as a Leadership Circle profile practitioner.
