- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Elizabeth was a vice president and managing principal at Optum, a leading U.S, healthcare business service firm serving over 4,000 hospital and health system clients nationally with expertise in healthcare consulting, data, technology, skills development, technology evaluation and best demonstrated practice acumen. In her role, Elizabeth collaboratively engaged health system executives in architecting unique solutions for optimizing health system clinical quality, operational, and financial performance.
- Prior to joining Optum, Elizabeth spent nearly 20 years with The Advisory Board Company, a Washington, D.C.,-based firm providing best-practice research, IT, leadership development, and consulting services to the healthcare industry. In her role as an executive director, she advised some of the nation's most progressive health system executives throughout the country. As a thought partner and adviser, Liz consistently participated in client board and executive team meetings and regularly hosted leading CXOs in the industry on personalized strategic retreats, focused on addressing their most pressing strategic priorities to meet their goals.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Brown University and on the board of the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline, Massachusetts, one of the nation’s most prestigious independent cinemas. She co-chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee, which also includes overseeing the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force.
